Bunny and pawpaw
He loves going to their house so much, I know no matter what time we get there, we are staying till past his bedtime. The later it gets, the sillier he gets. He really is quite hilarious!
Playtime
Playing in indoor playground. He built a train with big blocks to walk on (with a little help) and a small train with block and no help
New Pictures!! YAY!!
I cant believe how the time has flown. He is such a talker! He still needs an interpiter most of the time, but he is so polite and sweet it melts my heart. We started going to a mommy and me music class one day a week. He is pretty shy while there, but is slowly warming up to everyone. Last class, we were singing rooster songs and listening to rooster noises. The teacher got out a special toy rooster for all the kids to come up to pet. He was too shy to go up with the small crowd of kids. Right after class, we went to the teacher. He said "Me pet rooster please." When he was done he said "thank you me pet rooster. Now me play playground" I needed to do no prompting, he just knows to say please and thank you. They sound more like pee and ta tu...but people get the idea. They have a great indoor playground in the building that we go to after each class. I can see us going there during the winter to burn off some energy for sure. He loves the rubber band bracelets you see in a couple pics...he has quite a few, and he wears them almost every day.

2nd Birthday
Although he had a tonsil flare-up that morning, we proceeded with the birthday party to try and make him feel better. He had a great time playing with his new train table (thanks Nana and Pop) his new John Deere rider (thanks Grandma and Papa) and all his great new toys. By his third birthday we will have to buy a new bigger house to fit all his stuff.
Butterfly house
The butterfly house is a great place with about 2,000 butterflies inside. Its only downfall is that it is 85-90 degrees with about 100% humidity. Its a sauna and butterfly house in one.
Crash landing
They were too cute "catching" eachother at the end of the slide until Keegan's head collided with his. Somehow her head was fine, but Lukas had a big bruise on his head for days. And all this time I thought he was hard-headed :)
Circus time
The circus was more of a time for Lukas to play on the bleachers than for him to watch the circus acts. I will admit, they were very boring, but I thought he would be much more into them. I don't picture circus life being very fun for the animals....so I'd rather not go anyway...but for Lukas I wanted to try it. Next year I think we will save about $50 and just do the rides. He loved this big slide!

He wanted to go swimming sooo bad that he put on both his swim trunks to try and convince me. Since we didn't have a pool to go to, we went to the park to play in the water fountain that shoots out of the ground. He was so excited the whole way there. We had the place to ourselves (which excited me) and within about 20 seconds, he wanted to leave. He picked out this whole swim outfit...but wouldn't put a finger in the water. We shoulda just stayed home and played with the car lock.

Grandma Wolf's day
Lukas started out at Grandma Wolf's birthday with his funny face, but ended the visit with a very hot and tired face.

He loves playing hide and seek, which usually involves him hiding behind the shower curtain or window curtain, and us 'finding' him. The fact that he hides right infront of us doesn't seem to matter in this game. He has started doing the same between the back door and screen door and in the fridge. Could you spot him?

18 Month Pictures

He did so well at his 18 month pictures! You would never know that he (and I) barely slept the night before, and he cried for about half the car ride to St. Louis because he couldn't sleep. He is such a fun, happy, intelligent little man...who doesn't like to sleep. Thank you Starbucks for keeping Mommy awake!
