Slobber, Slobber Everywhere

He has been a bucket of slobber for about the last 4 weeks. His giraffe Sophie doesn't squeek correctly anymore because of the slobber overload.(I swear it wasn't due to cleaning in the sink)

Baby Cat and Baby Lukas

Baby Cat isn't one of the cats who cares for Lukas, but is still good to him. I think Lukas will grow up to love animals...but hope he will learn how to pet them with kindness sometime soon. As you can see, Lukas is usually joined by furry siblings in his daily activities.Damen, the one sitting by Lukas on his belly, is always around. Seeing him makes Lukas smile.

Sleeping

Lukas started sleeping in his crib about 3 weeks ago. I had a hard time not having him right next to me, but thought he would sleep better in his own bed. I was still sleeping in the extra bed in his room, so every 2 hours when he would cry, Mommy would come to the rescue. It seemed like he would wake every 2 hours for the rest of his life...and I was getting tired of the lack of sleep myself. I decided that no matter what happened, I would get him to sleep at least 4 hours at a time at night before I would feed him...and I would sleep on the couch so I was a little further away from the cries so I could stick to my 4 hour decision. Surprise, Surprise! Lukas was waking, apparently, because his Mommy was waking him. Starting the first night I was out of the room, he sleeps 6-11 hours in a row every night! Mommy, however, does not sleep so well all the way down the hall in the master bedroom. Who would have thought that I would be the one having trouble sleeping through the night?! He's only about 6 months, and already I miss having a cuddly baby. He doesn't take naps on me anymore and he sleeps in his own room....it's all happening so fast! I can already see why people say they want another baby cause he's growing up way too fast.

I wish we could download longer videos! I have him doing this for 3 straight minutes!! Can't help but laugh with him.

Blue Dog just keeps getting more funny

Lots of things make him chuckle these days, but its hard to video and tickle...so here is the dog again. Don't want you all to think this is his only trick...I'll work on catching other things on video...promise :)
